Amber Cade is the youngest out of the Cade family. All of her siblings are smart and athletic. They are well known, and everybody wants Amber to be the exact same.
And Amber is doing her best to be like her siblings.
Amber is a straight A student, and she is super sarcastic. She doesn't play any sports, but she does photography which she loves. She plans on being a photographer for her career.
Amber hasn't been big on love since she saw the aftermath her mother's death took on her father. She doesn't want to put herself through that pain so she protects her heart.
But everything gets complicated when Noah Matthews gets thrown into the mix.
Noah Matthews is the captain of the boxing team. He likes to prank people and make people laugh. Being popular and handsome, Noah is everybody's favorite. But Amber doesn't see why everybody loves him. She can't stand Noah, and she makes it known to him and everybody around.
But when Noah decides to do a prank on Amber for payback, it goes terribly wrong. The prank ends up breaking Amber's leg and breaking her camera.
Things get worse when Noah has to basically take care of Amber until her leg is healed or else he will be kicked off the boxing team.
It's only eight weeks and then they will never have to say other word to each other.
But a lot can happen in eight weeks.
Especially when Noah and Amber grow close and feelings start to blossom.
