The Girl Who Lost Her Smile

Once upon a time, long long ago, I met a girl who had lost her smile.
"Where is your smile?" I asked. She did not answer.
"Are you sad?" I asked. Yet, she did not answer.
"Why do you not answer?" I asked. Once again, she did not answer.
She ignored my questions as if she had not heard, and went along the gravel path.
I decided to follow her, determined to restore her smile.
