Katniss Everdeen, the supposedly new mockingjay – the sign of rebellion, the spark of only hope of all of the district people – is no more. After sacrificing herself to let her fellow District 12 tribute, Peeta Mellark, to continue living and go back home as the victor of the 74th Annual Hunger Games, the people has no other choice but to oblige the Capitol’s policies, even if it is against their will.
Another year has passed, and the Capitol has been looking forward for the much-anticipated seventy-fifth anniversary of the Hunger Games, especially because they know that it only meant two things: a good television show and more people will be sacrificed. And since it is going to be the third Quarter Quell, everything that had happened twenty-five years ago is bound to be repeated, as it should.
Forty-eight tributes from the twelve districts will battle against pain, starvation and death, but in the end, only one will be crowned as victor after the bloodbath.

“And in the end, we are all just the same fabric woven from the same material. We are all just mere humans, drunk on the idea that love—only love—could heal our brokenness.”
