Ever since she was young, Shiloh Madrigal knew she's different. For she can see and hear things ordinary people can't. But, because being different means being a freak? She tried to hide her gift so she would grow up as a normal girl.

But soon she realized that when she grew up, her gift became stronger that she could peek through a person's life just by touching his or her hand. That's why she pursued a career to become a psychiatrist in order to disguise while using her gift. But when she was summoned in a courtroom for a murder case as an expert witness her credibility collapsed that very moment. After all nobody will believe a woman who sees things, nobody believes in gifts, nobody believes in third eye, all she was in the eye of scores of people was a freak and a crazy woman.

So for her to save face, she left the city and bought the house of her dreams in a small town where the mountain ranges stood as a colossus around the small town. It was the house she dreamed of even when she was a little girl and she was excited to start a new life not as a psychiatrist this time but as a teacher.

At first everything was a bliss for Shiloh, not until the house started to talk to her and when she started to follow her senses, she will unravel something that will shatter her own sanity.

Oslo David tried to live his life as a carpenter in the small town of Cross Pines. But when a new faced woman occupied the old big house near the lake his interests was instantly piqued. Though he tried to fight the force that draws him into her, he couldn't help himself. He has to know why a city girl like Shiloh bought that old big house and chose to live on a remote small town like Cross Pines. But as he tries to know her past, Oslo will soon realize that her life was in grave danger. After all Cross Pines was not as peaceful of a town as it seems.
