Marian had always been stories of spirits when they were little...at least that's what they think.
Now nearly an adult, Marian continues their studies into the paranormal around her, trying to uncover what's going on within the Idenic Capital, why only she can see the world around herself as it is, constantly encountering spirits or even amalgamations of energy following her.
As she continues her studies, she will have to deal with the bizarre spectre of A young girl who only knows her name, Lyra, and see what trouble is brewing with a bizarre cult in Idennias' shadows, after said girl.
All this, and more, continue to unfold more for Marian on the road ahead of her with her friends, the one question Marian cannot make sense of is this strange fear each time she stares into Lyras' eyes.
