The sweat was running off me by then, and for all my misery, I was scared half to death. The moon was climbing up the horizon as I climbed up the quarry face. It shone down like a searchlight, wandering over the landscape as if looking for something... searching for something or someone unknown. I sat there in the darkness, exhausted from running so far in a short amount of time. The only light for miles was the bright moon that seemed to call out to me.
