Esta was murdered by her boyfriend. Looking back, her man was not good and she was better off without him. She should have left however she believed he would change. Hindsight is 2020 and no one would have been able to predict what would happen to her after death without hindsight. Esta remained as a ghost, watching what her abusive boyfriend did. The man who was supposed to take her to the afterlife didn't, instead, he urged her to pass on. Without telling her why Esta soon learned that there were dangerous things and that being a ghost wasn't a good time.
