it's world war two and Tom has took a liking of buster, an elephant at the zoo, but things don't go as he planned because the zoo keepers are shooting the animals down because they can't take care of them. He meets Jane, who helps him smuggle Buster into miss baker's home with the help of Pete, Tom's bully. Miss baker is an old lady who happens to have dozens of animals.
