The rain continued to fall upon the earth as the two stood there, staring at one another. Recognition filled their bodies, their expressions, their hearts, immediately knowing who the other was. For that, they felt ecstatic, overjoyed to see one another after what seemed like an eternity. However, neither of them dared to move. Neither of them dared to take a step toward one another. As much as they died inside out of joy, they could easily see that imaginary wall standing between them, separating and keeping them in their own worlds, their separate lives. They knew the consequences, the punishment if any should find out of their close bond, and they knew it very well.

The punishment...was death.

Wooyoung was unlike anyone he'd ever met, and it was becoming increasingly obvious to San that he wasn't sure where the hell this was going. What Wooyoung was supposed to be to him, because his heart was telling him there was something there, something promising, maybe even something good, but the way Wooyoung hugged him outside the restaurant- brief, friendly, with laughter pressed into his eardrum- told San a much different story. Friends. They were supposed to be friends. Or, San falls in love with Wooyoung who was supposed to be nothing more than a fuck buddy, and gets damn good at hiding his feelings.
