Being a king is hard. Raising a son is hard. Living with eternal grief is hard. King Thranduil is just trying to keep his kingdom running and his son safe when an elf is found with orcs at the border of Greenwood. Who could this mysterious elf truly be? After seeing Rivendell as the only option, she goes there and becomes a healer. Then an elf prince as perfect as diamonds comes and heartache follows.
