Heidi's father is a professional baseball player back in the States so Heidi grew up playing and being around baseball. During her first year many of the guys doubted her at first, even players from other teams because of her gender. She caught many people's attention, espicially Miyuki Kazuya. After he found out about her pitching abilities the two of them formed a battery together and Heidi was able to prove everyone wrong that she can play with the boys and be a total bad ass at it too.
