It was the semi-finals, they were playing against Aoba Johsai. No matter how many quicks were made, no matter how high he jumped, or even how much he was used as a decoy, they lost.
Their defeat left them hurt, even those who didn't care all that much about the match, were left in annoyance. But no matter how down he was about the match or his uncomfortable home life, Hinata still tried to cheer his team up when they got back to the gym.
But what if that happiness, the one thing that keeps up his motivation, is soon broken from just a few simple sentences by a fellow team-mate?
