Linda has been living with her adoptive mother Patty for 16 years, mostly working as a farmhand, whenever she's off from school or after school. Her mother had lung cancer which was hidden from her. One day Patty passes away, and suddenly gets a letter from her grandfather in London, she never knew about. Seeming to have no one else she can turn to she flies to London to meet her grandfather.
