When the game becomes too real, he is forced to adapt, and when he's pushed to the breaking point, he is forced to become the villain of his own story. This is not a story about the good guy. The protagonist takes the role of a tragic villain in this story. He will commit acts that are at best questionable and at worst monstrous.
