Astra and Crystal are left alone on different sides of a planet that has been divided. They are destined to meet and save their planet from destruction by an invading species called Nightspawn. Simultaneously, they're trying to uncover the secrets of their past to truly understand who they are. 

Astra and Crystal both live in unwelcoming societies and want to find a place where they belong. They face unexpected events and emotions which eventually lead to sacrifice. Throughout the story, they are thrown into magical adventures that change their lives forever.
