As a 16-year-old, going on 17, she never properly explored the land of CGL, blocked from sites with age requirements that had need for identification and a fear of someone in real life knowing her. She was content with this, really, she was! She'd move out at 18, become a proper adult, finish school and then... and then really explore what being a little in headspace meant.
