This is because naruto is going on a mission with the Rookie 12. How will he learn to cope with the pain and memories that threatened to drown him? After all, Naruto is just a weapon in the eye of the people of Konoha.

Hiruzen Sarutobi the third Hokage wanted Naruto to make friends his own so he makes him go to the academy and makes him be part of a gennin squad. Fates Path
This is my first fanfic of time travel and Danzo (Shisui's) right eye... there will be more description of that later in the story as well. Shisui's eye becomes an important part of Itachi's life and he tries everything to get it back through all his life which will also be later in the story. He celebrated by himself but the villagers saw him and they beat him up, in the beating someone stabbed his left eye making him blind on the left side.
