Ember and Josie Oswell lived in an abandoned bunker out in the woods. But one day, they had to leave. Leave everything behind, their small supply of food, their tiny pile of warmth. But isn't that just what their mum did? Except she was leaving more than scarce food and ragged clothes, she was leaving her daughters. Her twins. The two girls she told: "We will get through this together." So Ember and Josie set off running away from a threat they believed was long gone. But that wasn't the only thing that was gone, for Josie had disappeared as well. Gone, just like their Mother. Can Ember find Josie and win the fight between the group of relentless fighters? Even with the help of two new friends she meets in the woods, there may not be enough hope to get them through, well, without a fight that is.

This is an original story, with lots of surprises and fascinating discoveries. I thought of this idea and decided to roll with it, like a Chicken on rollerskates!

The Silver Scar

20 parts Complete

I ran as fast as my feet carried me; through the bulky pine trees and the deserted forest area. My legs burned as I ran away from my old house. My arms held my stomach tight, fearing that I would throw up. I ran until I could no longer breathe. I grasped the murder weapon as Drake's blood ran down my arms. Panting heavily, I stopped at a large boulder leaning against it. My breathing could be heard a mile away and that scared me. No one could find me, or I'd be as dead as he is. _________________________________________ Jenna Weston was on the run. She has a past. A past she is desperately trying to get away from. Garrett Chase was the prime suspect in the murder she committed. And as much as she wanted to keep running, she couldn't stand the thought of Garrett going down for the crime. Especially when he is family, and the reason she killed in the first place. **EDITING** COPYRIGHTED © 2014 _empathy All Rights Reserved.
