"Shift." His voice hit me like a serrated blade as he stepped out of the crude semicircle of hardened wolves that had formed around me. I pushed myself off of the cold floor for what felt like the thousandth time that day, wiping the small trail of blood coming off of my lip and down my chin. "I won't ask you again." I mumble quietly, trying to catch my breath which I lost in the heat of the moment. "Would you be lying to me if you said you didn't like it?" He replied, walking over to me.
