Local singer and waitress at a cafe, 18 year old Celine Young has a strange family history. Her mom always seems to be hiding something, her grandmother is always mumbling gibberish and her dad recently went psycho and vanished. Now she meets 19 year old Kyle Barrier, the new waiter, her new singing partner and her new enemy. When Kyle notices something about her, he pulls her into a world full of creatures who take sides,humans who contract demons for power and superhuman beings that her family has kept from her all her life.
