This story starts a little past the pilot and could be considered an Alternate-reality of Hazbin Hotel.
Your Y/N-character can look like anything and wear anything. I'm only giving a suggestion of what she/he/them/etc. looks like in the book for example I will be using "She" you can change this to whatever fits you. But seriously this is for your reading pleasure, just have fun with it.
Also another note to point out is that I decided to touch up the first and second chapter to add more context and better it as a whole. So do have another read if you don't mind.
