But Glenn knows he cannot do anything because Candice is Fritz' almost-permanent girlfriend. Allen tries to hide the pain she had when Glenn didn't show up on her 19th birthday, forcing herself to believe that Glenn is insensitive in the first place. A tale of Filipino teen romance and family relationship, this story dives into a complicated twists of heartbreaks and mini break-ups (worse, real break ups), trust, parenting, crime, and loyalty. A life story of ordinary people in extraordinary dilemmas. The novelette, Cynthia, is told through Dylan's and Allen's point-of-view in a trivalent sequence.
