Cassidy and Derek have been friends since birth. They were born just hours apart. Their parents have been best friends since middle school. They're known as the inseparable two. They do everything together. They're always going places with eachother. They go on double dates whenever they get the chance. They go on vacation with each other's family. They even get stuck in detention with eachother. No matter where they are or who they're with they at always together. No wonder she fell in love with her best friend. Somewhere along the way with his amazing personality, his charming good looks, and his beautiful smile she fell head over heals. Cassidy thought she knew everything about Derek, until one day in seventh grade when Derek tells her a secret he's been hiding for a while and has been dieing to tell her.... "I'm gay" Cassidy no longer knows what to do. She doesn't end their friendship since they're friends from birth. Though she doesn't end their friendship, she feels heart broken. Now she faces the fact that she's in love with her best friend knowing that no matter what, they can never be together...... or can they?
