"A Voice Unheard" is an anthology of both prose and poetry covering topics related to human life and the struggles humans go through manoeuvring human relationships. It deals with issues that people don't normally feel comfortable expressing or dealing with, for fear of being seen as weak. Several techniques of writing have been used, such as short stories, articles in the essay format and poetry. Sometimes words offer a great deal of comfort during times of loneliness and pain. Sometimes we fear truth over reality. But things get dark and heavy and we play the blame game. We end up hurting others or ourselves even. We don't think before we act or we don't say before we do. This is the evolution of my madness. A cluster of rants and thoughts and poems for you guys. Everything is written how I wanted it to be rants will be long with few pauses and there will be mistakes I might have skipped over. Aha. As we float through life, victimized by circumstance and stalked by rumours, we come to understand that false rumours have opposites: realities. These are the realities to which this book is dedicated. These realities share only truth, for some are harsh, some are cruel and some are bitter. But, the truth that binds them inspires the dissection of emotion- allowing a comprehension of feeling. Each poem is bound to a reality. (Written June 2017) None of us are perfect. We're all human and live with things we regret. And usually the person we find hardest to forgive is ourselves. A Voice Left Unheard is a novel that that addresses issues most of us will have to deal with when it comes to learning to love ourselves. We must forgive ourselves and not be so hard on ourselves...and we must learn to accept even our bad qualities. A novel written for the purpose to teach one to love who they are. Because too many of us lose that love as life goes on, and we need all the love we can get, even love from ourselves.
