Shane Madej's tragic death was hard on everyone, killed by the spiders in the Professor's farm stabbing him with a heroin needle at night. It was especially hard on his best friend, Ryan, who, despite his shortness in comparison to the human race, felt the full and unshortened array of human emotions. One night while drinking in a haunted tavern, he runs into Shane's fluffy blue friend (?), who blames himself for the death of his owner. After all, if the Professor hadn't left his spiders out for free time, Shane would still be alive. It's easiest for Ryan to simply blame the Professor and move on, but after his girlfriend dumps him and he gets drunk after the funeral, maybe the full story is more complicated than he thinks. And maybe the key to understanding his pain lies several feet below him.

The Buzzfeed Unsolved boys have done their fair share of investigations over the years, both from behind their desk and out and about on location. This time, however, was different. Something was off, and Ryan had a feeling it wasn't just his fear of the paranormal getting to him.
