There was a time when witches made an attempt to live openly amongst mortals. The results were catastrophic ending with thousands of deaths both mortal and Wiccan. To end the trials 13 witches came together combining their magic to create a world for Wiccans to live freely. They used their magic to ease the hatred and fear coursing through the world giving witches the choice to live in hiding among the mortals or freely in the new world they called Apex. Many black magic users resented the 13 witches for not choosing to use their gifts against the mortals. For almost 300 years tensions have ran high between those with black magic and those who practiced white magic. A never ending blood war. But a forgotten prophecy of a witch who will tip the scales is about to be remembered when a witch of both dark and light is born.
