Star Crossed **ON HOLD**

Humans thought they were alone in the universe until they showed up. The Ayalian are a ruthless race led by the cruel and merciless Bal Antilles. He has selected Earth as his next conquest. The humans have more fight than he expected and withstand the first onslaught of Ayalian attacks. A coalition between all the countries of the world called the Defense against Otherworldly Attacks (DOA) was founded. Agents of the DOA research, train, and infiltrate in an effort to eliminate this Ayalian threat.
Joey hates what her people do. She doesn't understand their thirst for violence or their need for pain. This is just one of many things that set her apart from her fellow Ayalian. The markings of her race, luminescent tattoos called illati, are a sign of pride for most, but for her its a sign of her shame. Everyone's markings are black while hers are white. Her life is a living hell but there is no escape. Her father is the leader of their people, the feared Bal Antilles, and he will never let her go.
