After the districts' rebellion failed Panem went back to the way it was before. Almost. The capital made the games more difficult.

Wren Donner has made it 4 years without being picked. Her luck runs out when she makes the decision to volunteer in the games to protect her sister. But can she even protect herself when she is faced with trained killers and the challenges of the blood thirsty capital?
