After the districts' rebellion failed Panem went back to the way it was before. Almost. The capital made the games more difficult.

The Mockingjay revolution got drowned in blood by the Capitol at the edge of victory. The remaining victors have all been executed. However, the Districts got better treated than ever before, the new president of Panem estimating that giving the rebels more liberty would prevent a new revolution. The only condition for this is the continuation of the Hunger Games. The Reaping is now far more just than before, only the children of criminals being chosen. What would happen if Katniss hadn't won the games? Well the rebellion never happened and the games continued on. This year, it's time for the 4th quarter quell and the capitol has a big surprise for the districts. There will be three games. The first game will consists of district 1-6. 3 males and 3 females will be reaped from each district to participate. 12 of the 36 will move in to a final game. Then the second game will consist of district 7-12. 3 males and 3 females will also be reaped. Again 12 of the 36 will move on to a final game. The final game will consist of the tributes that survived the first and second games. From there the tributes will battle until a lone victor remains. May the odds be ever in your favour...Complete

(Written in 2014) This is the 125th Hunger Games. In honour of the Fifth Quarter Quell, the amount of tributes representing each district will be randomly reaped from a huge bowl in the capitol, making a total of 24 tributes. In addition to this, any younger brother or sister of the tribute between the age of 8 and 18 may volunteer in the tribute's place. No other volunteers will be allowed.
