For centuries vampires and witches have been enemies. Now they are civil to each other but barely. When the vampire prince and the grandson of the Coven Head announce their engagement shock and rage ensue. Vampires and witches don't get married and as far as anyone knows they never have. Even their magic and powers are incompatible with each other. But none of this is going to stop Nico Estrella and Prince Lotus Alcea from marrying. Lotus has spent his whole life living in fear of his father. When his former best friend Nico offers him an escape through marriage he is hesitant but accepts it hoping that a union with Nico will give him the safety and security he craves. But marriage isn't enough to keep Lotus' father from hurting him and it only angers the witches who despise vampires. It is going to take more than a ring and a promise for the newlywed couple to reach happily ever after.
