Haven is not your average girl. She lives the city life. And at seventeen she just wants to be free. But one night when she is walking down the streets of Chicago, her hat blows away. And she finds something that know one could ever believe. In fact no one does believe her. Because the girl is gone the next day.
Damion is a hunter. He saved Haven from the dead girl. But he would have never guessed that he would start to fall in love with her. He can't fall in love. He's cursed. So why is this girl changing that?
Haven starts having nightmares. And the nightmares keep telling a story. But the dream is always the same. It always ends at the part where she finds the dead girl.
Haven knows that Damion is her savior. She loves him. But he is keeping things from her. And he won't open up his true feelings to her. Haven is totally confused. Guess that's what she gets for dating a hunter.

"I walked over to where Aaron was sitting on the ground, kneeling so that I was face-to-face with him. He was wearing a blank expression on his face so I guess he didn't really care if I kissed him or not. At first, I was so nervous I didn't realize that we were already kissing but after a few moments, I realized how soft his lips felt on my own. Before I can register it I felt him moving against me. She was the most beautiful girl you will ever meet. Kind, sweet, and one of the few people with a higher GPA then him, she was amazing and Aiden imagined that she would be all his. After a bunch of run ins with the both of them, Sammi makes up a rumor about James, insinuating it was Emma who started it. James watches Emma embarrass herself on multiple different occasions, And still wont explain why he is upset with her. But, after Sammi gets a football player to put a cockroach in Emma's hair in class, Emma runs out to leave. She then runs into James, who Offers to give her a ride home.
