Taregan grew up knowing how to hear the Gods, knowing what they would think of his every act. He could hear their whispers whenever he was faced with difficult situations. But the markings on his skin made his people fearful. And for that, he was cast out from the tribe.

Meanwhile, a secret sect has put a deadly curse into the Land, with the intention to rule nature, and Taregan was to blame.

After the death of his father, Taregan knew it was his time to act. He was sent by the Gods to destroy evil for good. Being the only one worthless in the tribe, the Chief decided to let Taregan go.

But the curse could not be easily lifted. Taregan has to journey far away from his home, and eventually, make the hardest sacrifice of all.
