Safe Haven | Newt Scorch Trials Fanfiction [COMPLETED]
Hi I wrote this fanfic first for myself but I thought why not share it on wattpad for those who want to read it as well? Basically it's a Newt fanfiction set in the Maze Runner Movie Franchise. In this fanfic, Newt and Cara are already in a relationship but their situation threatens to pull them apart. Will their love stand the trials brought about by a dying world? Short Summary Newt, Cara, and the rest of the group are rescued from the maze. Cara is given her memories back right before her, Newt and the group escape the WICKED facility. Her loyalty to her friends wavers but she soon realizes that she no longer wants to work for WICKED despite Teresa trying to convince her otherwise. They try to escape the grasp of WICKED as they make their way through the Scorch in search of the Right Arm. Cara struggles with personal issues and traumas that have been brought back along with her memories. Newt tries to hold her hand every step of the way. enemies to lovers all ik is I rewatched tmr series being a sheep beforehand and liking Thomas the most but I have come to the realisation that newt clears. and my favourite trope is enemies to lovers but newts character makes it nearly impossible for it to be natural so I'm trying my best and we will see if this story makes it to the end depending on how long my mini hyperfixation will last. heavily inspired by the book by glademother I've already read it twice in one week but I need new substance and no other book devours like that one did so I'm just gonna fulfill my own needs like I should.

So, I watched The Maze Runner: The Death Cure last week - and I am so not okay with that ending! Newt should have survived! So I've taken matters into my own hands and re-wrote the ending. With Newtmas being eventually canon of course! or Where everything's the same except that Brenda, Minho and Gally arrive a minute earlier to save Newt's life and even make it out of the city with the perfect cure made from Thomas' blood. Everyone was taken away. All she ever wants was for them to come back to her. Her biggest dream is to stand near the ocean with everyone she loves next to her, but even when they do come back they keep trying to slip away. Summaries are so hard to write....anyways so this story is based off of the movies, considerably The Death Cure. This is also BOOK 2 so I very much recommend to read the first book before reading this one just so you understand some of the things that is being said. Just to be clear I am not British, so please forgive me for Newt's speaking lines. I didn't want to curse in this book either except for the occasional 'hell' but instead of cursing I like to put 'bloody'.
