They all dive into their food, but I make sure to pour a lot of maple syrup on my pancake and fruits before starting to eat.
"Addict," William whispers into my ear in a husky voice.
His breath on my neck makes me quiver, and even though he makes me feel weak in the knees, my smart-mouth can't keep shut.
"You're jealous because you wish I'd be addicted to you," I reply, looking straight into his eyes now.
He looks surprised by my comment, but a grin quickly forms onto his face. He gets even closer to me, so close my heart is about to beat out of my chest.
"Maybe I do," he smiles.

"Would you like to dance?" the boy asks me. I stare deep into his blue eyes, but I can't figure out who he is. He's tall with dark hair and the brightest blue eyes I've ever seen. I know everyone at this school, but with his features hidden behind his mask I can't tell who he is. "Sure, I would love to." Did I just say that? I agreed to dance with a random boy who I don't know. He takes my hand and leads me to the dance floor. We dance for a few songs and then he asks me, "Would you like to take a walk? At the end of the path I notice a little fountain surrounded by candles. I wonder if he set this up. We walk over to the fountain and we sit down on the edge.
