I was stumbling through the darkened woods. There was no way out. I was running... running for my life. The beast was gaining on me. Only a few feet away, my heart was racing. Sweat beads down my forehead, and my breath ragged. My biggest fear is what would happen if it caught me... got a hold of me. I pushed the negative thoughts out of my head and quickened my pace only making me trip on a shrubs branch. The fall to the ground was rough and painful. I landed on a slanted hill making me tumble through the rigid sticks and bristles sticking out of the ground. Little yelps escaped my lips until the tumbling stopped and I was on flat ground. My head was pounding from the fall and my vision blurry but trying to focus in on my new surroundings. Yet that was the last of my worries when I saw the gray wolf approach me with its teeth on full display and snarling about to pounce on me until... a huge black wolf jumped onto the gray wolf's back. They began biting... clawing and growling at each other. It felt like a nightmare come to life. I tried to back away from the fighting wolves but my body was weak and in pain. The growling had stopped, and my heart rate was beating more than ever as the black wolf stood in front of me. However it wasn't growling.. but whimpering. Before I could register why. Blackness consumed me, and I was... gone. Follow Isabel's never ending story of how she learned a deep dark secret about herself she was never meant to find out. A whole life hidden from her by her mother. Will Isabel accept this newly found secret or run away? What if it meant she met the man she was destined to be with? This is Brave Heart.

"You know, it won't physically hurt you to be nice for once." I crossed my arms in front of my chest and groaned. "I don't want to take a chance." the corner of his lips lifted a little as he finished his sentence. "Well, you don't hear me complaining. The view of a someone so desperately working out is not a delight either." I retorted in a weary voice. "I bet it isn't." he narrowed his eyes at me and commented. Ugh.. Why is he so damn annoying? "You know what, just take your arrogant ass out of my room." I scowled at him, pointing towards the door. With small steps, he walked towards me. I took a step backwards when he neared me. He was invading my personal space, making me a bit flustered. The urge to push back his golden-brown hair covering his forehead was increasing with every passing second. "Gladly." he mumbled against my face and then walked past me out of my room. It took me a minute to calm down my racing heartbeat. ... He was a mystery, an enigma I wanted to solve. He was exhausting, he was infuriating, yet staying away from him was not an option. He was making me feel things I haven't felt before. Adam McArdle!
