Weeks have passed since Loki heralded an army of alien forces into New York. The destruction they brought might have been world-ending had it not been for the combined might of the Avengers: Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, Hulk, Black Widow, Hawkeye and Mongoose. In the wake of this attack, the Avengers have established their new headquarters in the heart of the city they protected. While the Avengers continue their journey as a team, Thor and Dean are continuing theirs as a couple. And they all soon learn that there are forces poised to tear them apart.

This story features same sex romance, etc. If this is offensive to you then I would recommend not reading.

NSFW chapters will be clearly defined as a heads up.

I do not own the Marvel characters.

Despite their best efforts to regain the trust of the world, the Avengers are still met with criticism. With every move they make under close scrutiny, they find themselves treading lightly to avoid more incidents akin to Ultron and the tragedy of Sokovia. When a new team of superheroes is entangled in disaster and an Avengers mission goes wrong, the government steps in with new legislation that would force all superheroes to register, and be overseen, by the government. Eager to right the wrongs of his past, Tony Stark is quick to join the government's efforts, believing that oversight will ensure that more disasters do not happen at the hands of the Avengers or any other super-powered individuals. In opposition of this is Steve Rogers, who believes that government oversight would enable politicians to decide who the villains are, forcing superheroes to become nothing more than political pawns. When the King of Wakanda is assassinated and Steve's old friend turned enemy, Winter Soldier, is implicated things become even more complicated. Forced to choose a side in a civil war, Dean Allen can't stop thinking about a far greater threat that lurks. Please note that this is an installment in an ongoing series. (Finished but in editing! Just warning in case things don't line up!) Avengers Tower, three weeks after the Chitauri's attack on New York. The Avengers are moving into the Stark tower (now known as Avenger's tower) and Tony isn't sure if he's ready for that. The playboy is still caught on what he'd done, what could have happened... and the stress seems to eat at him, tearing him apart from the inside out. Things quickly take a bizarre turn as Tony finds himself confused about his feelings for his newly found blonde companion, a young hero appears and claims Steve to be the reason for his loss in the attack, and a dangerous new threat is made by the groups own hands. Secrets begin to pile up, romances fall apart, and attacks becoming more brutal each day. Can the Avengers manage to keep themselves together, work through their issues, figure out who their hearts really belong to, and save the world yet again? (This is my first fanfiction or story of any kind really so................. forgive me if it sucks and uh. If you see anything you really like or notice my grammar skills are off feel free to comment. Yes. I did switch the timeline up so Buck is alive BEFORE Avengers. Obviously, I don't own the fan-art or any of these characters or anything from the Marvel MCU really.) 18 parts Complete Mature
In the aftermath of Malekith's assault on all of the realms, Thor has made Midgard his primary home. In the midst of tragedy, his relationship with Dean further develops and the Avengers learn of the whereabouts of a missing object of vast power- the scepter Loki had wielded during his invasion of Midgard. Stolen by Hydra, an organization bent on world domination, the scepter has been used in their experiments on human test subjects. This forever alters twins Wanda and Pietro Maximoff- powerful, vengeful figures who hold Tony Stark and the Avengers responsible for the tragic losses they've suffered. Propelled by the traumas he has endured, Tony Stark uses the recovered scepter to develop a program called Ultron- designed to keep the world safe and ensure world peace. The plan goes horribly astray when Ultron becomes entirely sentient, finds and joins forces with Wanda and Pietro Maximoff and the three set out to tear the team apart and remake the world as they wish it. A world without Avengers. This is a retelling of Avengers: Age of Ultron. It is not intended to be a mirror image of the film. It is my adaptation. It features a homosexual relationship between Thor and an original male character. Don't read it if that's offensive to you. I do not own the Avengers. Cassidy Martin didn't ask for any of this, and she doesn't want it. Her powers came to her by an accident, a fluke, and now they're threatening to ruin her life. But she can control metal now. She can turn invisible. She can fly. And she has no idea what to do about it. When Cassidy stumbles into the world of the Avengers, she has two choices. She can run from herself, or she can embrace what she is. And maybe along the way she can teach another lost soul to embrace himself as well. Loki. He was sure he was a villain, then he wasn't quite sure what he was, and now he may only be sure of her. But what is sure is that something much bigger than all of them is threatening the home they love, and its name is Thanos. So, she now has the superpowers and the Avengers at her back, but don't be fooled. Cassidy Martin is no hero. She couldn't even save herself. A/N: This story takes place a few months after the events of Civil War, and right after Ragnarok (so before Infinity War). This story is in a lot of ways my replacement to Infinity War.
