It's been six months since Ellie's faked death, and nothing anymore is as it seems.

Her sister is power-hungry, her father is satanical, and her mother is obsessive.

Time is running out to stop her father's mission of spreading his genetically-modifying virus, but with the Prophets to worry about and a world that thinks she's dead, there's so much else to take care of first. However, as she finds out, she can't do it alone, and she can't do it as the unfeeling killer her mother is trying to make her. So that leaves only one option.

Ellie risks everything by running away, but together again, her and August may just find a way to stop her insane family.

I asked, standing with my hands on my hips. "No, I hope to get to know her when you're ready." He said, and I blinked, a little astonished that he would be so cool with me having a child. Most dominant male wolves are against the idea of their mates ever having been with another. Hope Mayson was only 18 when her whole world shifted, and her best friend died. She died and left everything to Hope, including her baby daughter, Elena. To keep Elena safe from her father, Hope took her newly adopted daughter and ran. For 5 years, Hope kept Elena safe until Hope's mate, Jack, came into their lives, and soon the past catches up with the present.

Once he landed and finished his escort mission, he was ordered to return to base and was put on suspension. Back on Pandora, a human child was the only thing left in the rubble of the destroyed medical lab. Unknown to Commander Quaritch, he had orphaned a two year old little girl, and left her in the ruins surrounded by more than 10 dead bodies. The mother of the child was killed, along with every human she has ever known. Once the child woke up and began to cry, she was so young she couldn't do anything. She knew she was hurt and scared, the bright light from the sun and all the ash falling onto her white skin further frightening her. The two year old was all alone. The forest line next to the medical lab began to make noise as a Thanator began to answer to the baby's cries. The feline-esque creature listened to her maternal instincts and followed the sound of despair. The animal climbed down from the trees and poked her heads out of the leaves, her many eyes finding the source and locking onto the injured infant. This is where the child's story begins... With a new generation of nanoids, stronger and smarter to fight the battle, the virus doesn't have a chance. Many attempts were made to create a man-made version of synthetic dopamine and each time the outcome was a disaster. Their goal is to create new generations, immune to the virus. These are called Purebloods, the offsprings of those who find pure love, the only cure to save them from a violent death. Running out of time, the Experiment entered in its final stages.
