(Y/n) (L/n) had had two defining moments of her life by the age of eleven. The first was the day her parents died, leaving her as a baby in the care of her uncle, Phobus Haytham. The second was the day that Phobus was murdered, leaving her forevermore under the care of her pompous Aunt Jasmine, who would never let (Y/n) forget that she was not her blood.
Then the dreaded day came when the owls flew in the foyer and dropped that sealed letter off bearing the official school of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
Would every other wizard be just like her aunt and cousin? Was (Y/n) being shipped off to a boarding school for wizard supremacy? One thing was certain - (Y/n) had no idea what she was getting into.

She was tired, she was so bloody tired of it all. From the constant nagging and picking and pulling to the waking up at 6 am everyday to do that stupid crap. She didn't think it was stupid really, she just didn't like having to do it. She didn't really like having to do schoolwork either, but she found herself to be fond of the teachers and the curriculums. Most of all though, she didn't mind being at school all too much because it kept her away from the house. She found James to be nice, and Sirius to be troublesome, Peter was quite thoughtful, but Remus, he was kind to her. She had found that Remus was her favorite of them all, he was really very kind to her. What she had really come to see though, was the fact that he had scars too, and that meant they matched. Mature content. There are certain parts of this story that I will put a trigger warning before but you should keep cautioun when reading because I mention a lot of triggering things and topics in this book including self harm, abuse, mental illnesses etc. Also, the first year is really shitty writing and like the first part of fourth but I swear it gets so much better. I just haven't gotten around to editing the bad bits yet :( Credit to J.K. Rowling for the characters and parts of the plot and obviously Hogwarts fandom and Everything Harry Potter related. Y/N, knowing what Remus and his friends did to her brother back in the day, had gathered a huge anger against Remus. Y/N then suspect something quite odd to Remus Lupin. On the other hand, Y/N started to feel some kind of a spark every time when she's with Draco. It was quite odd, and was confusing her brilliant mind. Would Y/N find out what was odd to their teacher, Remus Lupin?
