Evelyn was the perfect child growing up even if her parents were strict and if her rank was low, she's a low rank citizen in the kingdom of Arcadias but she wasn't any normal girl she was a shapeshifter who practiced magic at the same time.
For years her parents had sheltered her from the outside world until one day every shapeshifter or witch was called on by the king to join the army and help against this war, Evelyn was made to leave her home and walk along with 56 others from the kingdom towards the camp where they were due to get training.
But she wasn't alone her close friend Toby was there with her as well but he was a warlock not a very powerful one for the matter, but the worst thing was they had already pissed off a guy named Ryder he was a shapeshifter a strong one for the matter he was next in line to be head in his family but he was also known for having a temper.
Will Evelyn be alright in this new place? Will she make it home? What will happen to Toby? Will he stand by Evelyns side? But what will Ryder do to them? Will he make it hell for them?
