Lilith Zermanion watches her world turn upside down when her parents move the family from New Orleans, Louisiana to Kalamazoo, Michigan. Everything seems so new and unfamiliar to Lilith, especially the portal that appears under her bed during the first night of her stay. After having the portal reappear nightly, Lilith decides to investigate. Her investigation of the portal lands her in a new world - a world that is set in the medieval times. Lilith is spit out in the middle of a unknown kingdom and the only thing she knows is that this is clearly not Kalamazoo. After meeting eight boys, she learns that this new world is suffering from a war between people and demons. What happens when Lilith finds out that she is destined to be the savior of this world?
