Have you ever heard of the Legend of the Skull Thief?" A new chûnin asked.

"Eh? That's just a bedtime story to scare children into listening to their parents!" The other replied while waving the first off dismissively.

"No, no! There's an actual shinobi called that!" The teenager exclaimed.

"I call bluff," the second denied while crossing her arms.

"Call it what you will, but don't let Konoha's Skull Thief catch you~," the male cooed at his teammate.

Kozan gave a small sigh at the passing by conversation before looking over at his fellow jônins. "They do know I'm not actually a bad guy, right?"

"Have you looked in a mirror?" One of his friends joked, earning a small scowl.

"I'll should bite your face off for that," Kozan retorted.

"Oh, no! Konoha's Skull Thief is going to kill me!" The jônin exclaimed dramatically, earning the laughs of the others.

Kozan rolled his eyes, but gave a wide grin nonetheless. "Relax. That's reserved
for enemies of Konoha."
