We'll get through this together (A hiccstrid runaway fanfic)

Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III has done the unspeakable- befriended a dragon. And having come first in Dragon-training, means that he now has to kill one. But Hiccup can't kill a dragon, so he plans to run away with his Night Fury, Toothless.

When Astrid finds out about Toothless, Hiccup convinced her of the dragon's loyalty and they become friends. When she learns what Hiccup plans to do, she demands to come with him. After a lot of arguing, he eventually agrees, and they leave Berk that night, hoping never to return.

5 years later, Hiccup and Astrid have settled down on a new island known as "The Edge" and have a small child of their own.

Their new lives are interrupted, however, when a certain group of teens and a blacksmith wash up on the shores of The Edge. A group of people they hoped never to see again.
