Many years into the future the world has came together again, creating peace and harmony around the globe, until the War started. The further you get away from the Capitol in Sydney the poorer and more rural the land becomes. 
Seven months till the war is over and the world will be consumed the government starts to get desperate. Getting recruits from every place and sending them out to war. All die and none has yet to succeed. 

Avis Whitley lives peacefully in Whitby, England with her adoptive family. Her fear of being drafted slowly creeps up on her as time grows on and she imagines her death over and over again in her dreams. When the leader of Normont brings her nightmares into reality she slowly becomes fearless. Avis becomes drafted in her family and Jolen goes with her, starting their journey to the War. 

When they get sent into war they have a group of five people and Avis's group is called

When Luke, the only living son survived his games the family were overjoyed. But the threat of the youngest was constant. They were terrified that something would happen. No one wanted her to be entered in the games in fear it would ruin her innocence. She only had two entries years. Would she make it through or would she be reaped in the games? "Us Granite's we don't grow attached, less people get hurt that way. I'd rather love no one than watch the ones I love suffer" "No one is ever truly prepared for the hunger games, not even the careers. I'll tell you why because no two games are ever the same" "Some people believe that admitting your scared or nervous means your weak but it really means your human" "Expect the unexpected because I have nothing to lose. I'm not afraid of death because everybody is going to die someday. I just don't plan on dying soon" (This Book takes place in the 72nd Games and leads up to events before Catching Fire. There will be changes. Also People are allowed to travel around Panem, by Train, but it costs a lot of money, so only rich people, mainly Victors travel).

Aren Harker wasn't sure on whether he would be okay with being reaped or not. No one wanted to, but if your name was drawn there was no option. His family barely having food on the table most days, he wanted to be able to provide them with more for themselves in his absence. He wasn't sure how his parents would react if their second child was reaped, just as their first had been. Aren's sister had been reaped 10 years prior, for the 58th games, and she didn't make it past the first 24 hours. He worried if his own name was drawn his fate would be similar. But part of him felt, maybe, just maybe,if he was lucky, he could win. I do not own the hunger games franchise or any characters inside of it. The only characters I own are those that I specifically announce are my own.

She joins a special force in the Marine Corps, but one mission, her and her teammates get captured. When she comes back, her family had moved on and forgot about her. But they all ask one question, what happened to their Mace on that last mission. (Those who have already read this, there have been some changes. I am trying to get this published in the future and that will also look different from this version) This is rated mature for the language and gore
