Alaska Rhodes had never expected to die young, (you know, until she found out she was a demigod and monsters craved for her blood and flesh or whatever, but she got over that pretty soon). She wasn't even an important or powerful demigod, so why did death want to get its hands on her? Because of her godly lineage, it wasn't exactly a surprise that she would die, but what was shocking was how she came back to life at the hands of her best friend who exchanged her life for a favor to Kronos.
