When a nuclear bomb hit the country of Uzinia, destroying the upper class and cities, and leaving only a bare minimum, the world was left in terror. Now, ten years later with the world in ruins, gangs on the street, people living in trailers and a cruel government, Chase's world is slowly breaking. With abusive stepsiblings, no real home or education and a sick relative of a close friend, life isn't easy. But he also has a deadly secret that's affecting him more and more as each day passes. And somehow that secret is connected to the man behind the nuclear bomb. And as lingering memories of ashes, dust and fallen stars start to reappear after many years, Chase's worry begins to escalate.
