The machine played the next message; it was silent, then suddenly there was a high pitched scream from the machine. I threw my hands over my ears. Then it stopped. The voice's cries were replaced with shallow, slow breathing, "Empress." The voice whispered, and then my answering machine blew up, the flames filled my kitchen, I covered my mouth coughing, my eyes began to water, I heard howling from the living. Bear.Shit. __ What could a killer twelve years later want? To be caught, or at least that's what they claim when the killer contacts Indigo. With a string of mysterious cards turning up, an attempt on her life, and this is all linking back to her mother's murder. Indigo is more than determined than ever to discover the pure intention behind this serial killers' twisted motives. Still, with the number of bodies turning up, she finds herself stuck between her goals and happiness. She might be running out of time. Luckily She's got the best team any P.I. could ask for.
