This is just a little story about adventures that my Dungeons and Dragons (aka, DnD) character goes on with her fellow party members. I do not own anything in this story except for my character. All other characters mentioned belong to my friends and boyfriend. The world this takes place in belongs to the wonderfully, amazingly talented voice actor and Dungeon Master, Matthew Mercer. The Tale of Dragons and Dungeons
The result of me and a couple of my friends playing Dungeons and Dragons. After a while, we just decided to make it into a story. I wrote basically all of it, and my friends made requests. Most of the time I tried to keep it to one linear story. I planned for a couple plot twist that never actually happened as I went on. Meep, my first story submitted to here. Harpers Quest Prequel - A Forgotten Realms Story
** Updated 09/11/2019** **Story is Complete** This the Prequel to the Harper Quest stories. I've basically kept the same story just redone how it has been set out by making chapters shorter so it is easier and quicker to read. Several years ago I started to write a story set on the Forgotten Realms which turned into an epic about a group of Adventurers called Brithic's Band. This was the original concept story and was based on a campaign I was involved with at the time. Wilclif, The Beginning
What is this story? The main character of this story, Wilclif, is a Dungeons and Dragons character I have created. He is an intriguing character that has a very interesting backstory. This book goes over the early events of his childhood where Wilclif is taught his first lessons putting him on a path of adventure and I intend on creating more books about the adventures of Wilclif leading up to the campaign he is being used in. I am writing this as the campaign is going on so depending on the events of this campaign will affect the future of this series that I intend to write. I will be writing this book chapter by chapter and releasing each chapter as it is written, edited and checked. If you enjoy my writing please let me know and any constructive criticism is welcome! A RANGER IS BORN
First off, this story was not written by me. I am posting it for a friend of mine, with permission of course. This took place in a Dungeons & Dragons game over 30 years ago. It is a about how one of the player characters got his start; Crentar Bronn. He is a human ranger of 1st level in this story. This is important to note, because it'll bring more perspective as you read the story. I was the DM (Dungeon Master) for this game. At the time, we were still in high school, which of course, gives away our age. lol I decided to have each character do it solo before they actually met up with each other. A teaser so-to-speak. Eventually, there was five player characters in the game. My friend who ran Crentar Bronn remembers this whole solo adventure to this very day in great detail. A few years after the game is when he wrote this story. We were recently reminiscing about 'old times' and he told me that he actually wrote it out as a story. He was then able to find it on an old hard drive & then sent it to me. I was very surprised at how good this is & how great his memory was from that adventure. I'm flattered that he was so inspired by it, that he turned it into a story! I hope you enjoy this early adventure of Crentar Bronn as much as we did. Perhaps, with enough comments & likes, he'll be inspired to write more chapters. THX
