To my surprise, I felt an arm pull me away from where I was sitting and closer into Lucas's lap where I was sitting dangerously close to his body and face, making my heart race as he looked into my eyes with a knowing smile. "Did you really think I wanted to be with you because of some act you pull on a lit stage?", his question threw me off as I could barely focus on his words, "Uh...well, I..."
