izumi is a neko and was abandoned at an orphanage at the age of 2, her parents didnt want her. they took her in and she got a best friend straight away, he was called hitoshi shinso. izumi wouldnt talk at all, she knew how to speak, she just didnt want to. one of the workers taught her sign language and hitoshi learned it too so they could communicate. izumi was smart for her age, she knew things most people didnt. she could easily read people but no one could ever read her but hitoshi. they were like two peas in a pod, they were a package deal, but whenever someone wanted to adopt izumi, they found out she was a package deal and they didnt want to adopt two kids so they never adopted her. even when hitoshi got his quirk, no one adopted them. 

what if two heroes come to the orphanage and adopt them after they learn about the two kids? what if izumi starts to talk a little while after she gets adopted?
