A genetic condition had crept its way across the entire population, causing a global deficit.
It allowed a frightening black market to bloom in the shadows.
Men with no morals and deep pockets, no longer had to struggle to find a woman, there was place they could go where there were plenty to choose from.
James Cooper was happy to sell the company of his women. Their babies fetched a high price too, in society's seedy underbelly.
When Cadence uncovered the truth, it changed her outlook on life forever.
Some things could never be undone. Could she bring justice down on those who needed it? But, do all of them truly deserve it?
