Maybe coming into the forest with the fog so thick wasn't the greatest idea.

He should have thought of that sooner.

Suddenly, something dark grabbed his waist from behind. It was so abrupt that Cole fell to the ground and dropped his bow in the process. He thrashed wildly and tried to pry off the grip of the creature that had him by the waist. He was drug across the forest floor quickly. He could only see a blur when he looked to his right or left. His head hit the hard, rough ground a few times as the creature drug him, leaving him dazed and helpless.

"No..." He managed to huff weakly, still trying to pull off the dark creatures hold on him.

One last head hit to the ground and Cole was out cold.

Book Two - 'In the centre of the city, the depths call forth The blessed princess must heed its call to uncover the truth of the bargain made Or with the thief she shall stay to the end of days' - "Nothing will go wrong, we'll just sail into the Roman Camp, tell them what's up and begin the quest. Simple." "Being a demigod is never that simple, Valdez." "When you're with me, everything is simple." - "Everything okay, Princesa?" Leo whispered. She shook her head to clear the fog that had settled and turned to him. Leo saw pure panic in her eyes, and his brows furrowed in concern. "Everything's fine." She convinced. Leo didn't buy it. Nor did she. - "You said whenever I need you." "Whenever you need me, Amor." - "Everything is how it should be. She told me, she told me everything. This is what must happen. And you're going to be hers. You are the downfall of the world. You need to be the downfall she wants. You will be the extra." - "So, you found out your truth." The voice spoke "For years you wondered why. Why your supposed loving mother did this to you. To your little family." the voice continued. It seemed to echo all around her. "And now you know." - "Her ring, there's a button, it'll tell Leo she needs help-" A sharp wail echoed around the small stone room around them. "No, he's gone!" She sobbed. "He- he won't answer. I tried, I tried everything. I can't-" - "Persephone it's hurting you, stop using them." "No, they make me stronger." She turned her back to him, the burn in her eyes intensifying as she clawed more of that new feeling, the new power, into her. It seemed to run like lightning through her veins, and Percy watched as the scratches deepened. Her eyes were dark and empty, and Percy felt nothing but fear. - (Takes place during The Mark of Athena, book three of the Heroes of Olympus series) (As always, all characters belong to Rick Riordan, Persephone and her own plotline are purely my creation)

"The other side Nico! We will see you there. Understand?" Nico's eyes widened. "But-" "Lead them there!" Percy shouted. "Promise me!" „I-, I will." Nico watched in horror how Percy promised Annabeth to always stay together, to never be apart again. Then, Percy let go and he and Annabeth fell down. All around, he could hear the others shouting and running to help. All too late, Percy and Annabeth were gone. Suddenly, Nico heard another sound. A strange crackling was increasingly more and more prominent, until it drowned the voices of the remaining five. Before he realized what was happening, the ground beneath his torso was crumbling away, larger and larger pieces were disappearing in the hungry darkness below. Nico did not have time to react. The next thing he knew, he was falling too. OR Three demigods fall into Tartarus after finding the statue of Athena Parthenos. For better or worse, it is not the first time for Nico. (Warning; Probably has plot holes everywhere) This is the sequel of my first book: Percy Jackson The Wolf Prince It begins off a few weeks after the ending of the first book. --------------------------------------------------------------------- "You can't break me Lyacon." I whispered, feeling the blood dripping off my body. Lyacon stopped whipping me "Everything can be broken, you just have to find out how." He snorted. Lyacon walked around me. "You have been used, smashed and betrayed , but yet you don't break." He said, as he started smiling and went on. "But there is one thing that hasn't been tainted yet, the one thing that keeps you innocent, and soon that will be rectified." Then he left my cave, closing the door behind him. "Tomorrow you will have a visitor, and you mad her angry, and you are going to pay, Perseus. You are going to pay." With that, I was left alone, to think about what he said. --------------------------------------------------------------------- When Percy finally gets some rest, or so he thinks
